McD said in a recent interview that there are five players in this draft that he really likes. So, who are they? His top 5 in order. I think they are:

1. Ball
2. Jackson
3. Fultz
4. Isaac
5. Tatum

Why Ball over Fultz? Defense. Ball is, and has the better prospects as a defender.
Why Jackson? Defense. See a theme developing here?
Why Isaac over Tatum. Um. Well now you know.

I'd be disappointed in Isaac over Tatum but in those scenarios in the past (wanting Wallace over Nash and maggete over Marion) my disappointment was always quickly replaced with pleasant surprise.

I nailed Finley though

Gambo already said what the suns board was a couple days ago:

1. Ball
2. Fultz
3. Jackson
4. Tatum
5. Issac/Fox

They like jackson enough to maybe take him 1 or 2.

It is likely a smokescreen. McDonough has every reason to put Ball at number 1 if the Lakers are interested in him. I don't think McDonough is going to give up his draft order other than to manipulate early lottery teams for possible trades.

Those are nice options at number 5. I especially like Fox. Isaac is a 6'10" player who is very athletic and might be able to play both forward positions.

I wouldn't believe anything Gambo says. We are in April.

I don't think Ball fits at all with how McDonough drafted in the past and what he told us about this thought process. He valued flexibility a lot, seems complete BS that McDonough out of all GMs would be one of the few that might like Ball more. Which I think is absolute non-sense anyway and a fake storyline just like the manufactured media controversy between Towns and Okafor and Simmons and Ingram.

Your meltdown when they take ball ahead of fultz will be epic (and hilarious)
They won't. Unless Fultz bombs his individual workout I just can't possibly see the team passing on Fultz for Ball, and I like Ball.
