Considering the recent track record of Marvel films, even Guardians 3, do you blame them? Deadpool becoming an official part of the MCU and a major lead-in to the X-Men is the biggest deal that Marvel has had since Endgame.Part of what hurt Deadpool 2 is how much info and media was released prior to it premiering. I fear they're repeating that mistake with DP3. The first was excellent and part of what made it such a surprise hit is how little was known about the details of the story and what direction they were taking the character.
Yes, I know I'm in a thread about the film but you see details everywhere online. It gets as much coverage, maybe more, than Spider-Man films do. It's unavoidable.
Editors weren't on strike, so they were probably already editing the whole time with what they already shot. Are they even going to be able to make the July 26th date on this considering principal photography hasn't completed yet? They just resumed it after the shooting pause due to the strikes. The date feels very optimistic to me with how much post is in these movies and if they have to do any reshoots.

Remember, this is also a "new" and very hyped property for Marvel and how it's in the bigger MCU.It is a big deal but Marvel's biggest hits seem to be hush hush until they're released, include Endgame, so this isn't their usual strategy. Hopefully it pans out but I'm having a hard time avoiding info and staying upbeat for this based on all I've seen and heard. Not that I've heard or seen bad things but I don't like feeling like I've seen a movie before it releases.
