I am being optimistic as well but Ill admit I havent been this nervous since the first few weeks of the year. I got to a point where all of the anxiety was gone because I knew we could dominate. Back to normal now!

I disagree. The first playoff game is like a milestone. Sometimes players have trouble getting past those career milestones. The next one would be the Super Bowl.....but hopefully it wont happen.

But what do I know. You wouldn't have all that much trouble convincing me that Palmer has never played clutch football where he just stepped up and took over a game the way Larry did Saturday. And that means he just isnt capable of being that guy.

I don't think that is the case but admit it is a possibility.

Marino never won a SB but did win some playoff games. If Dan had never won a playoff game he may have not made it into the Hall of Fame.

Palmer now knows he can win in the play offs and the NFC championship game and the SB are play off games.

The Cardinals were terrible last night in so many ways. If it was not for Fitz, the season would be over. If the Cardinals do not get their act together when they play Carolina next week, the bloom will be off the Rose.

If not for Aaron Rodgers then Green Bay's season would be. . . Oh, wait!

Seahawks lost because, as smart of a guy as he seems to be, Wilson played one of the more frustratingly stupid games from the QB position that I've seen in playoff football in years. Palmer will throw some bad passes and be taken down a few times but he won't play dumb.
