Meet The Ledger's 2024-25 All-County Boys Soccer Team

Polk County boys soccer teams fell short of the state tournament this season after McKeel advanced to the Final Four a year ago, but there still soccer teams that made their mark on the season. George Jenkins, Bartow, Lake Wales, McKeel and Lakeland Christian all won district titles and boasted some of the top players in the county who made The Ledger's All-County first team. There was a lot of talent in the small schools as Fort Meade and Frostproof were competitive in the district with Lakeland Christian. Among the big schools, Lake Region, led by player of the year Judeson Adeclat, was among the most improved teams this past season.

Judeson Adeclat​

39 goals 8 assists

In his second year of high school soccer, Adeclat became even more polished and was a dominating player. A speedy player with great ball skills, he scored 39 goals to go along with eight assists to help Lake Region improve from 8-10 in to 11-7-1. In two years of high school soccer, he now has 65 goals and 14 assists.

Kilby is a former George Jenkins soccer player. He played goalkeeper and graduated 10 years ago. Under Kilby's leadership, the Eagles improved from 7-8 and won their first district title in four years.
