Next year when you play the Cards please use your MVP (assuming he's still there) as little as you did today against the Steelers. Please.

Oh, and bring that brilliant clock management to the table too.

:lmao:

That was ridiculous.

Why didn't they try a FG at the end followed by an onside kick?

Man, you never give up. Coaching was great before he showed up. The draft also. And geeze what a defense we had before that.

What's Mac up to these days? I think he's available. Buddy? Beige? Somehow they're still there for us.

I was saying the same thing and everybody at the party was calling me an idiot, it was 50 some yards, blah blah...yeah, when they got down to around the 30, they were all like, 'gee, you were right'.

Why? Cuz you want Alexander to run for 95 yards on us? He had 20 rushed 95...

Now if we bring the refs from yesterday and WE pay 'em off this time...then we have a chance

Whats to give up? Its absolutely true. The clock management on this team has been horrible at the end of games under Green. Sorry you cant swallow the truth pill.

Has any RB run for more useless yards than Shaun Alexander did in the Super Bowl? 20 carries, 95 yards, and zero actual impact on the game.

Nice MVP.

shaun had a very good game and 98% of the people on this board would kill to have him on their team (including me)

he had a very good game against one of the best run defenses in the league

if that play to stevens counted he would of punched it in from the 1 and would of seen more carries with the lead for the rest of the game and we would of seen just how valuable he is - but it didn't, he didn't and Pitt scored to pump the lead up to 11 pretty much removing him from the rest of the 4th quarter

On that dumb a-- time clock play. The coach called a play and The QB audible out of it. The coach called another play and once again the QB audible out of it. This is from the mouth of Holmegrim. Seems to me this is on the QB and coach. They both knew the clock situation. This seemed as dumb as some running plays with Seattle behind 10 points and around 5 minutes left in the game. On one play Alexander caught a pass near the sideline but chose not to go out of bounds but cut back inside with about 4-5 minutes left. Seattle had very bad clock management in the last quarter of this game.

I wish that clock management was the only problem we had to fix. I will take DG's draft and coaching anyday.
