Mercury traded their number 8 pick for a player from the World Champion Detroit Shock, and two of their draft picks today!! It's not finalized yet, but a 3 for one player trade will help the Mercury who had a lot of holes to fill. Rebeca Lobo and Ann Meyers said the Mercury should make the playoffs, and that was before the Detroit trade was made!!
