Nice touch! Ken Kendricks looks almost as friendly as the non-executive staff. He must have rehearsed that one.
I wonder which D'back player is going to represent us at the All Star game at Chase Field, which will be the first National Park to ever host an All Star game with a DH. I hope that is not a sign for the regular season.
Edit: It does mean that the top two National League MVP finishers, Joey Votto and Albert Pujolz (both 1B) can be in the starting lineup, with the number four finisher, Adrian Gonzalez (also a 1B), as a reserve.
Thanks for the correction on Adrian Gonzalez. And I agree with your take on the DL. It reduces strategy and sends almost everyone up to the plate with a big swing.Adrian is in the AL. Also the video was quite impressive to get it done in one shot.
One more thing, I highly doubt this is a sign for anything other than just another step to protect pitchers in what is really a meaningless game. I will say this, the day they institute a DH in the NL will be the last day as a baseball fan for me. The DH has ruined baseball since they no longer play real baseball in the AL.
