Should have heard what he said about the Bears game on the same subject....don't think I can repeat it here :)

I don't think Fitz has much memory for SDS. Otherwise he'd be jumping for joy that we had more fans than the Bears last season. At SDS, we'd have been outnumbered 3-1.

No we actually discussed SDS, he did understand the heat thing and everything, just thought it wouldn't have been as bad at the new stadium. Disgusting and ridiculous were two of the words he used to describe how many Bears fans were at that game.(those are the only two words I can use)

I completely agree with him.

The second half of that game were far more disgusting and ridiculous.

...nice dude. Was pissed at how many Cards fans sold their tickets to the Steelers game. Said all the Minnesota crap is rumors that weren't started by him and said the team loves Whis and how approachable he is. Said the team isn't looking at St. Louis like an easy win, said the Cardinals of the past have been the Rams of this year and when he was on those teams he prepared as hard as he could each Sunday to win and knows the Rams will do the same.

Saw Marcel there too, was with his girl just came up and said hi to Fitz real fast.

Fans need to stop selling their tickets to opposing fans.

What was Fitz doing in a bar? I heard he didn't drink and didn't hang around bars...

It sounds bad right now, like Fitz was bitching about the fans. Please tell me he is excited that even though there were more than enough steeler fans, that the crowd was intensely loud and shouted them down.

He should be bitching about how many opponent fans still go to our games. It sucks. Yeah, it was loud, but it could be even louder.

He should be bitching about how many "cards fans" in the Valley don't buy up the tickets on the aftermarket. I don't blame people for selling them...I blame Cards fans (and the cards franchise, I guess) for not snapping them up. We've got a waiting list for season tickets...but it isn't long enough.

In Green Bay there are plenty of tickets available, but most of them are snatched up by diehard packer fans, not the opposing team.

Winning cures all. In three years, if we are a consistent playoff team, valley Cards fans without tickets will pay the price to come watch the team play. This is a very, very fickle town. It kind of sucks.

IF'n the Cards become a playoff team, UofP might be louder and crazier than SDS was when the Sun Devils were awesome in the mid-eighties. The upper deck would move up and down from the craziness. I haven't seen or felt anything like it. I think the Cards go get it louder and crazier.

Why? Thats a pretty crappy thing to be doing on a Friday nite.. Watching a eastside hs team play? No thanks..

I live in Buckeye and work in Glendale, but grew up a Mesa Jackrabbit, as did Duece Lutui.. I'm not a fan of the eastside and am very involved with the west, but I gotta tell ya, nothing anywhere in this Valley compares to the football fields of the EV school's on a friday night.. Heated, storied, and smash mouth rivalries exsist, especially between Mesa and Mountain View.. I think they knew where to go for great football...

I still think the toro's suck...

The waiting list certainly isnt long enough. My buddy Jason just got on the list about 3 weeks ago. He is # 2723 in line to get season tickets. The team told him that they expect about a turnover rate of 3000-3500 per year and that he should easily get tickets next year.

Not long eough at all.

Yeah, he was by himself waiting for some people for about 30-45 minutes. Left him alone a lot(didn't talk his ear off) but we had a few conversations.

Well, I saw something very interesting today also. I was at the supermarket and there was a brand of hot dogs that had a Cards logo on it, and stamped "The Official Hot Dog of the Arizona Cardinals."

So there. :)
