Fresh off the boat from Alaska. Having a hard time getting back into the grind. Restaurant survived (barely) while I was gone (for that story consult the Im getting my own place thread) and now that we're grooving and slowing down a touch for summer, I have mounds of cheffy paperwork to address. Hence, the time on the computer...

Hows the lawyering going? What did you think of that lack of a defense for the british guy who offed his wife and daughter?

Going okay. Recovering from a shellfish and oyster overdose in Mass. I don't think much about it. He did it.

Actually it is paleolithic. Just want to clarify in case you want to try it. The diet is treating me well, but does give me a snippy attitude at times. Must be that false sense of superiority.

Odd thing about the soft drink question. Once you kick it, the occasional dabble tastes foul. Makes me wonder how we ever acquired that original taste.

Im well off my old habt of at least 1 a day. Down to like 1 a week. Kicked the addiction, and yeah, it generally doesnt taste as good to me as it used to, so thats good. Now I just drink a shload of coffee with sugar in it, so not sure the trade off has any benefit...

I do still love the mexican coke though. There are a few fake flavors I still have an affinity for. Smart food - white cheddar for one...

The only soda I drink now (for the most part) is the pineapple kind of mexican soda at the taco shop. Yellow-green sugar water with bubbles. Delicious.

Yeah, I saw something about this before. Dr. Pepper has a product in the states. It's sold in only one small town, and has always been produced using cane sugar. Fructose Corn Syrup, has me ready to swear off regular soda all together.
