I bet davis is jumping for joy that he will get to jump ship, even if its out of the frying pan and into the fryer.

I cant fathom why anyone would take walker on.

yuck is a good description

I was checking out the trade checker and Doleac, Simien and Davis are all in their last year of their deals.

Minny also pays $12.446M vs $14.720M this year, but next year Walker's $8.3M is more than Blount's $7.9M and has a contract one-year longer.

Minny better have gotten a goooood draft pick to take on ****** Walker.

actually Walker's contract is a year less than Blount's. his third year is a team option....and any team who excercises that is a fool.

and Simien has a team option that hasnt been picked up yet, so he could technically be had for one more year if it was picked up.

Ah good point. ESPN doesnt show option years. I guess it isnt *that* bad, but I'd consider Ricky Davis a decent player Minny could have used in a deadline deal. Shoot, I'd loved to see him on the Lakers.

Man, will Minny will 20 games this year? Holy team of Crap, Batman. I guess the optimistic ones might suggest that Al Jefferson will carry the team with the rookie stud, Corey Brewer and 3rd year Gerald Green.

All those who believe that are crazy. This is the Western Conference; teams are tough.

If this was Minnesota's attempt at addition by subtraction regarding Davis and Blount, someone should have told them 'bout Walker.

"manufacturing a deal that delivers two proven scorers"

Since when is Blount a "proven scorer"?
