Suns close, NBA refs please take care of that situation.
Allen looks like he's done in the nba
He's no longer a star player, but he's been an impact bench player. He's shooting over 50% both FG and 3pt and he forces defenses to spread the court.
Wow no kicked ball. Should be every time even if accidental or on purpose.
I've always wondered about this. What is the rule, exactly? The only thing that's consistent, in all of my years of watching the NBA, is that if the ball hits someone's lower leg accidentally, I will have no idea whether it will be called a kick or not. I'm surprised by the call pretty much every single time, no matter which way it goes.
The defender has to attempt to move their leg to intercept the ball for it to be a kicking violation.
If that's really the rule, then at least half of the kicking violations I see called are wrong. Which may well be possible, but I wonder why the players don't complain.
Section V-Strike the Ball
a. A player shall not kick the ball or strike it with the fist.
b. Kicking the ball or striking it with any part of the leg is a violation when it is an intentional act. The ball accidentally striking the foot, the leg or fist is not a violation.
The arena seems rather quiet for a close game in the 4th quarter.
I double checked to make sure and direct quote from rule book below. The refs seem to give the offensive player the benefit of the doubt on most calls, I guess it's just something everyone accepts.

Edit- I also don't think I've ever seen a player called for hitting the ball with a closed fist. I know I've seen Nash and Ginobili do that an multiple occasions.
