Gotcha. So am I. I just don't post too much anymore.

From week to week ? I understand, heck I would take bi-weekly.

Don't get me wrong, DO NOT stop posting. Just figure you would benefit from consolidation.

Oh, and you never can keep up with the changes of football. Just post and edit, and defend within the post. I have tried to stay up with the NFL, it is futile.

Keep at it, and don't mind the grumpy SOB's like myself. I was simply trying to clarify why some are crying to "one thread". :D

No Prob and thx. It is all cool :D. What we all can agree on...Lets hope the Cards win this week. :)

Campos, I do too appreciate your posts and points just to clarify. As far as the current situation what would you like to see happen next year at the QB position if it turns out Hall or Skelton are not the QBsOF? I know you like McNabb, but I fear the Cards blew their chance with him and the Redskins will pony up the $$$ for his services...

Vick Named Starter

Football decision according to Reid. Not because of injury. Not really surprising to me.

You have no idea if Vick was on the trading block or what we "could have had him for". You're one of those posters who live in a fantasy world who think we could have traded a 5th round pick for Reves since he was holding out.

When Vick comes to town, you don't have to worry about locking up the women and children, only your pets.:D

Vick is about a thousand times better than better than any QB we have on our roster and he could have been had for far less than he can now after being given the starting position in Philly. They'll let Kolb go before letting Mike V go.

I'm sure a lot of the same folks that were saying how bad Vick sucks will be the same ones saying the guy he outplayed, Kolb, would be a great pickup for us.

His abilities are irrelevant, he is an evil SOB and I don't for one second believe he has changed, not for one second

You are entitled to your opinion. The guy has served his time, served his suspension, and done all that has been asked of him to deserve the 2nd chance he is now getting.

If you choose to never veiw Vick as simply a football player then you miss out on the things a guy like Andy Reid sees including a guy that has the 4th highest passer rating in the NFL right now, which is ahead of the likes of Drew Brees. He can never change what has happened in the past. All he can do is do everythijng that has been asked of him which he has. Some choose to cling to things beyond the football field when discussing Vick and so be it. Your loss.

What are your feelings on Rae Carruth? If he were free right now and could help this team, would you sign him?

Vick sucks. I don't care what he did the last two weeks. He has had stretches of good play like any QB. But inevitably his average catch up with him.

All the ones pining for Vick are the people thrusting tons of venom at DA. Yet look at Vicks career comp %: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/V/VickMi00.htm?redir

Look familiar?

Wow. Just ridiculous. Has Rae Curruth served his time for the the crime he committed? Has He been afforded a 2nd opportunity in the NFL and done with it all that has been asked of him?? Again, just ridiculous.

Ok similar completion %. How about rushing yards? TDs? INTs? Games won? Playoff wins? Is there anything you can honestly say that Anderson does better than Vick??

Its a dumb question. Vick will never be a Cardinal, only a POS.

Rushing yards I could care less about. I want a QB not a RB playing QB.

Football is a team sport not an individual one. So while the QB dictates a lot I can only put so much stock into W/L record. He is 2-2 in the playoffs. Never been past the 2nd round. So while he may have a better winning % who knows what he would have had playing on some pretty dismal Cleveland teams? That's all just a guessing game. They weren't in identical situations but on different teams.

The biggest gripe on here about Anderson is his accuracy. Anyone on this board pining for Vick is being a complete and utter hypocrite.

Its like many of the NFL analysts have been saying the last week or so. Yea Vick has looked good. But as you are able to start game planning him lets see where he after several weeks as the starter

Why is it ridiculous? Many see what Vick did in the same light as to many a life is a life and Vick took many without a second thought and got joy of out it. That is all I am saying.

If you want to bring up ******** like this at least make it a useful player. Something like, 'we could have had Drew Brees for nothing... Now look at him.'

LOL way to answer the question I posted. I guess rushing yards from the QB don't help an offense and have no bearing on W/lL's. What other stats do you want me to bring up when it comes to the QB position? Rating? Wherre does DA stand in that regard?? OK let's just see where Vick is compared to where Anderson is in a few a weeks. And dont give me any "team" BS afterwards as head to head the Cardinals beat Philly the last time we played each other and this Cardinals team has more weapons on O outside the QB position than the Eagles do.

As far as the ridiculous comparison of Vick to Carruth I subscribe to the opinion of only God can judge me. I'm not one to judge any man. If he has been convicted of a crime and served his time as well as having done everything asked asked of him upon being reinstated to the NFL what more can you really ask for? This is AMerica right?? Maybe Vick and Curruth are gulity of commiting the same evil in your eyes but that is not the case of the law or the NFL. We are talking about guys playing a game on a fdootball field. So while you are certainly entitiled to your opinion on that, I am again entitled to think any comparison between the two is flat out ridiculous.

Huh? Reid went on record saying Kolb would still be their starting QB just the other day. Complete 180 ...

That's what I've been hearing the last couple days. Must suck to ride the pine for 4 years, get less than a half of real football to prove yourself, only to lose the job because you got a concussion. I guess Reid is being practical, though.

they won't ever say it but this had to be a decision from above. Why else would he change from Monday's announcement of Kolb? This is good news for the rest of the NFC East. Vick had a nice game against the worst defense in the league. He'll get back to his normal below average QB play when good defenses gameplan for him. I also don't think Kolb is all that good either, though but who knows what he can do.

This seems to be a bad sequence.

1. Dump McNabb ( okay on its own )
2. Install Kolb as the starter ( made sense after dumping McNabb )
3. Sign Kolb to a long term big $$$$ contract
4. Do nothing to bolster O line.
5. Kolb plays one half and gets slaughtered because of lack of protection
6. Announce Kolb still has job after recovery from concussion symptoms
7. Change mind and name Vick starter.

What's next?

I'd rather roll with Max Hall and all his rookie flaws and size, than bring in a Mike Vick who is a fantastic athelete and below-average quarterback.
