Michigan State baseball is gearing up for a big time conference series against the Ohio State Buckeyes inside of Jeff Ishbia Field at McLane Stadium. For Friday's game, one that got moved up due to weather concerns, the Spartans are catering to the fans, bringing back a fan favorite jersey.

A style of jersey that Spartans fans love, the script "State" jerseys will be returning to the Michigan State baseball program. The team's X account revealed that the team will be bringing back the timeless classic.

The Spartans will wear the jerseys when they take on the Buckeyes on Friday. MSU enters the contest at 20-15 (6-9 B1G), while Ohio State checks in at 9-24 (2-13 B1G), meaning both teams are in need of a big weekend.
