Michigan State football's edge rushers coach Chad Wilt has put in a lot of work this offseason, prioritizing that defensive end and edge rusher position. Wilt has now found a new prospect to extend an offer to.

Obinna Umeh, a native of Houston, Texas, received the offer from Michigan State. The St. Thomas High School product currently does not have a ranking yet. At 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds, he surely projects to be a speedy edge rusher for the hybrid position Michigan State likes to use.

Umeh already has official visits scheduled to Pitt and Stanford, while also holding offers from Oklahoma State and San Diego State.
