For the second straight year, Michigan State hockey has won the Big Ten Tournament championship in an overtime thriller. On Saturday night, the Spartans defeated Ohio State in double overtime, 4-3.

A year ago, Adam Nightingale won his first Big Ten Tournament championship in an overtime winner over Michigan, this year, the Spartans took home their second straight title behind Isaac Howard's goal with 4:51 left in the second overtime period.

Howard got his second with the overtime winner, while Tanner Kelly and Karsen Dorwart also scored goals for the Spartans in the contest.

Michigan State now awaits their fate in the NCAA Tournament, where they will likely be a No. 1 seed in the Toledo regional.
