Michigan State hockey has won their second straight Big Ten Tournament championship, defeating Ohio State, 4-3, behind a double overtime thriller from Isaac Howard.

Michigan State and Ohio State played for a long time, with a lot of hockey, but with 4:51 left in the second overtime period, Howard buried a rebound shot to put away the Buckeyes and secured the Spartans a second straight Big Ten Tournament victory.

The double overtime winner for Howard was his second goal of the contest, and proving why he is in contention for the Hobey Baker Award.
