So we are halfway through the season and with the MVP talk today, I started thinking about what awards Cards players might get.

My picks:

Buddha Baker 1st team all pro and pro bowl starter
Trey McBride. Pro bowl alternate
Paris Johnson. Pro bowl alternate
Kyler Murray Pro Bowl Alternate
Chad Ryland Pro Bowl Alternate.

Budda for sure pro Bowl 100%. But 1st team all pro? Just don't think he should be with how one dimensional he is. As well as his complete lack of creating turnovers.

And just so people don't get twisted on Conner, he's the 5th leading rusher in the NFC.

Chuba Hubbard gets in as the token Panther over him

I think Conner is more widely regarded in both fan and player voting most likely no? Maybe Coaches too?

It's a lock. He's the 4th leading tackler in the NFL as a DB

In theory. Honestly I had no idea how good Hubbard's season has been with straight poop QB play

Budda has played so well you have to consider keeping him at his ridiculous salary

He was all pro last year and he's having a much better season this year
Oh he's been all-pro 2 times and still don't think he deserved it. All pro is all world all around player to me. Good in coverage. Creates TO's etc... A tackling machine is nice and he's fun to watch but for me it's not AP material. He makes a few splash tackles here and there. But most of his tackles are down field. I also understand that its not the popular opinion. Especially after the film that was released of the Miami game by Baldy. But couple games before he was missing tackles and terrible in coverage. I'm glad we have him but he just isn't an AP in my eyes. And that's OK. I know the league is in love with him.

Agree.

He's probably going to make the Pro Bowl, but depending what guys are listed as he's not better than Jessie Bates, Xavier McKinney, Brian Branch, etc.
And if they are going to reward reputation then a guy like Harrison Smith might get in being that the Vikings defense is so great.

More power to him I guess.

Where do you see Kyler on the alternate rankings?

Top 3 so far
Goff
Jayden Daniels (narrative + play)
Hurts?

Alternate
Baker
Darnold
Cousins
Love and Kyler a toss up (Love's got the TDs/yards and will continue to do and Kyler has less mistakes)
Stafford and Purdy can be fast risers as well.

He's going to have to really put up the passing yards if he's going to be a top alternate. As well as the wins.

I'm thinking McBride is closer to All-pro than Budda. McKinny is a DPOY candidate at S

I really don't understand this love for Ryland. He has made a bunch of 30 yard kicks and a couple 50 yarders.

Somehow just doing his job like an average kicker makes him a pro bowler to you. I don't get it.

I highly doubt he’s a lock with how Brian Branch, Jessie Bates, & Xavier McKinney have been playing.

How you're playing has nothing to do with the Pro Bowl. The Pro Bowl is more about how people think you are playing. Rep carries a long way. Marshon Lattimore made the Pro Bowl bowl for years based on a couple of great seasons.

McBride is a an odds on favorite for the Pro Bowl no?

He's 2nd in the NFC in yards (and only 22 behind leader) and with a fair wind should break 1000 yards. Next closest NFC contender is Kyle Pitts who's 50 yards back.

He's missed 1 kick due to a block, he's perfect from long range, multiple game winners, outstanding on kick offs.
