We are at the halfway point and the season couldn't have gone much better than it has. Who do you think are the halfway point offensive and defensive MVP's?
On offense, it's hard to not go with Ellington but I think Veldheer has to be in the conversation. I'll admit I wasn't big fan of his signing but he has played at a Pro Bowl level the entire year. He may have been the #1 FA signing in the entire league.
On defense, there can be cases made for Foote and CC but to me the clear MVP has been Cromartie. He has shut down about every WR he has faced, sans Thomas, and has made some key INT's. To me, him and Palmer are 1 and 1A in guys that the Cards need to re-sign this off season. I would even consider the franchise tag on him. I know there are cap ramifications to be dealt with but signing him is a must. FO's can always make the numbers work, cap-wise.
ST's is the Cat-man. Still perfect on the year and getting good depth on his kickoffs.
