When they are 0-5, they suck, period. Their defense sucks, their "great" running back coughed up the ball twice in the last game, etc. I hate to see our fans give them any respect that their fans would never return to the Cardinals if the tables were turned. Screw 'em. They suck until they take the division from us.

Yup! You are what your record says you are!

If you truly believe the niners are that sucky----so be it. Just don't come on the board screaming 'how could we do that', if they beat us one of those games. This is the NFL. Nobody is guaranteed two wins a year against anyone in this league.

As a Cards fan, I'm very well aware that we can lose to anybody, any time, in any fashion. (That's why, in a weird way, the victories this season have been a lot of fun for me. The other teams fans are bitching about bad luck for a change.) You won't see me shocked by any combination of wins and losses in the 49ers games this year. But, if they beat us, and they still finish behind us, then they will still SUCK!

The 2010 Niners kind of remind me of the 2006 Cards, lots of promise, heartbreaking defeats vs good opponents, mixed in with poor performances vs mediocre opponents. We were considered a laughing stock back then.

Exactly. And you couldn't find anyone then that give us an iota of respect. Pity, yes, respect, no.

not only are they 0-5, but they've gotten that absolute snot kicked out of them twice and just lost at home to an Eagles team that had zero confidence whatsoever in it's starting QB. That's a bad team no matter how you slice it.

Disagree with the bolded part, replace with had reservations about their starting QB (IMO).

The Eagles did make the trip from the East Coast and were missing a starting CB and a couple of other players as well.

I for one am not calling T O D yet, they have a very weak pulse at this point.

The good news is the man with the paddles is Singletary.

fair enough and I don't think they're necessarily dead yet, not with the cake schedule they have coming up, but I agree they have a very weak pulse right now. throw in the fact that one of their "home" games is actually in London against a mediocre Denver club and that could really hurt them as well as they try to dig out of a huge hole.

Is everything
Yup! You are what your record says you are!

After 16 games maybe, but not right now. Unless you are willing to believe teams like the Bucs and the Bears are good enough to maintain their 75% or better win percentages.

I Can't really pull the underachieving card on the Niners as a Cardinal fan.
We are too, have been!

Their coach has the what the hell are you doing out there factor, So does ours, I don't know who has the advantage but Whiz is a TE and Sing Sing defended against him as a MLB. If Whiz dropped his pants female iron golems would fall in lust. old rusted iron balls.
blink blink calculated response.

My biggest complaint this moment is the lack of talent in the media, How can you be that wrong that often and keep a job? WE PAY FOR THIS CRAP WITH OUR TV DOLLARS!

People don't seem to understand that the new CBA is directly related to how the NFL can suck the most money out our wallets in a bad economy for as long as they can.

The NFL product has took a nose dive this year, player contracts are shelved waiting for more information, But the driving force is the TV contracts, and the media holds the hammer, growth has stopped, can this current money be sustained long term?

What can we cut from our budget and still get a fan to by our $285 black jerseys and the NFL package, They could start to keep my loyalty by prioritizing integrity of the game over money.

Like instant replay could focus on getting it right more than splitting atoms with the rules. Well we know its wrong but sorry about your luck city and fans, its the muck rule!

I'm off topic again sorry, Mike and Mike are 2 of the better media in my eyes, and He's allowed being a niner fan, DD is, Wishes Cards fans would act more like Niner fans, geesh give me a break. Niners are just tasting now what we ate for over a century. have they ever been 0-5 or even
1-5?

They better look somewhere else for pity, I hope they lose every game forever. except I would like to see the NFCW climb out of the gutter, Their the weak runt this year, Rams and Hawks rule them! YES sir E bob, I hope they puke on their own power ranking.

It's not just the Cards who have cause to bristle at the assumption that the 0-5 Niners will come all the way back. The Seahawks and Rams already have 2 more wins than the Niners, and Seattle was on a bye.

Who knows what'll happen, and we know better than to crown 'em. But seriously, some restraint, please. On paper the Niners are good. In the paper the Niners are 0-5.

It will be interesting to see how they handle the game in London. Good news is that huge hole they are in has quicksand at the bottom & jimmy raye won't be the last one to sink in it.

ok

Hope you meant games, cause I would love to see them play GM'S on toilet paper! I'de pay to see that!

Rod Graves would wipe them up!

but the 06 Card comparison, come on now, The Cards were fighting the declining hawks for the division,

half the stupidest of stupid media didn't favor the Cards to win the super bowl like the 2010 niners.

personalities over principles, the media needs fired and bring in some new blood like Kurt. their wrong way more than right all of the time, that aint ok were paying for this crap every month, in season or not!

I want better service for my fan dollar, I feel I deserve that.

I feel LONDON DESERVES THAT! since their pitching in some of their fan dollars across the ocean. The NFL product has declined, partially cause the media couldn't find their AZ with both hands.

Nice to be in a situation where the 0-9ers could beat us twice and still be a game back. SF has to finish at least 8-3 to win the division imo. I don't see it.

On the other hand the Cards can finish 5-6 to get the same record and the schedule turns in our favor after KC with 6 of our last 8 games at home.

They have another 'home' game against the Raiders. Apparently those can be pretty rough in San Francisco.

You must've meant 5 of the last 8, or 4 of the last 6.

Just keepin' it real....

...dave

5 of 8. Hit the 6 by mistake and didn't catch it. We also have a stretch of 4 home games in 5 weeks that's really going to test our depth at the tailgating position.

Two examples of wasted energy:

1. Taking seriously what 2 guys on national TV (who probably spend less than 5 minutes a year analyzing the NFC West let alone the Cardinals) have to say about the division race.

2. Trying to predict how things will turn out.

I take exception to that. I spend most of my day trying to predict how things will turn out as part of deciding who is qualified to perform construction projects and who isn't.

49ers have a tough game at home this Sunday against the Raiders. Its a must win for them for sure.

I'd say that describes most of their games from here on out, lol.

BS. You are what your record says you are. No one ever cut the Cardinals an inch of slack when we had bad records. Why should Cards fans do that for the Niners? Screw 'em.

Looks like Mike recanted today, he is now picking the Cardinals to win the West based on how much grief he was getting.
