Mike Fetters seems like a likeable guy. He certainly is an entertaining baseball player. But, as a pitcher, there's nothing left in the tank.

My wife and I were at Thursday's game vs. the Marlins. After a three-run rally late in the game, the D'backs were within two. It was great to be part of the crowd's excitement.

In came Mike to keep it close. Fetters faced five batters, gave up 4 runs, 4 hits, 1 walk, and a wild pitch. And got zero outs.

The game was then out of reach and the D'backs went down quietly in the 9th.

His ERA is now a whopping 10.80. He'd make a helluva 1B coach, but should not be taking up a spot on the 25-man roster.

It's sad.

Yeah, he has been horrible as of late. Where did we pick him up from... it seems like he came out of nowhere!

I think he was out of baseball for a bit while he was rehabbing? I dunno I watched some D-Back special that showed him working out in AZ trying to get back to MLB level with his arm.

He pitched for the suns a couple years ago and was decent but not great.
He lives in Phoenix and is supposed to be a great guy.

He had surgery on his arm and spent last year in rehab and is now back pitching.

Mike Fetters has lost it all . . . and then some

Trying to pick a runner off first while our 1B is playing behind the runner (as he should have)?

C'mon guys, it's past the time to retire Mike Fetters to an Over The Hill home.
