I have been very impressed with Mike this past month. I think he has shown that he can pitch at this level. He should get stronger by next spring and I am really looking forward to seeing him pitch in spring training. It would be a huge plus if Mike can become the pitcher everyone expected him to be a few years ago.

Keep Randy . . . a free-agent #2 starter . . . work with Webb, now that the league has caught up with his sinker . . . Gosling #4 . . . and fill in #5 . . . could be a good rotation.

Add to that the potential good bullpen we anticipated a year ago (plus Greg Aquino), and the D'backs pitching staff could be playoff bound next season.

That's why I hope to see Sexson and Gonzo and Hillenbrand (why not in RF?) anchor the batting order.

I saw where Tracy played in left the other night. If they sign Sexson, play Shea at third and put Chad in right to replace Bautista.
