My sons and I went to a friend of their's house....a bachelor who has a huge plasma TV. Actually enjoyed the party....about 7 people showed up....one guy had his girlfriend but everybody came in as Stealer haters and a few left as Big Red fans.

We had great food and I finished off my Mezcal and New Castle. Game wise the penalty disparity got too me a little early.....but we still had a chance all game long. Harrisons run was ludicrous....shoulda had a safety....but all water under the bridge.

Everybody else survive?

No major injuries or accidents hopefully?

Thanks to everyone here for makin this one heck of a run....and to the Cards of course.

We're not the laughing stock anymore.

Didn't have a party. Too intense to have casual fans around. But my golf club had a party and my wife called a friend who was there and had her buy Mrs DJ some squares.

Danged if mdj didn't win on two boards and collected $300. :koolaid:

Well tv crapped the bed 2 hours before gametime so I had to drop $1400 on a new one, wife is a diehard Steelers fan and I am a sore loser so suffice to say she is still not talking to me, the Cardinals lost and I woke up at 10:30 with a throbbing hungover headache. All in all my "party" sucked ass but thanks for asking. :)

Good friends, good food, good drink

I felt like a king for a short while. After Fitz's touchdown, all of my friends (Cowboy and Eagle fans) were going crazy with me, tackling me, and poring beer on my head saying "2 minutes!!!" You know what happened next. But it was the best feeling in the world while it was happening.

This most closely sums up my day... Tons of fun with friends and family... Great food. And man when Fitz scored that TD to give us the lead, the entire house (32 people) EXPLODED!!!!!! Beer spilling... Chips Flying... Hugs all over the place...

And when Holmes caught the pass in the corner of the endzone, you could have heard a pin drop...

As if this season hadn't already provided enough excitement and drama for a lifetime, the Fitz and TD followed by Pitt's version of "The Drive" was enough to finish me off... I NEED the offseason as much as the players and coaches!!!

I spent the game with a bunch of biologists, with only one other real football fan in the room. He's an English Lit PhD. Who is English. And is a rabid Carolina Panthers fan who adopted the Cards after the playoff game.

We spent the whole game explaining the rules to a pair of very confused Norwegians. And we were both very deflated at the end, so it's hard to evaluate the party outside of that unfortunate fact.

Our party was fantastic. We had the Game on a 92" projector screen in 1080i HD. Building a house with a theater room so i bought it early last week to use for the game. We had about 30 family and friends and all Cards fans so it was loud!!! I had to much to drink so that is probably why I am so salty today...and we lost the game...and some guys want to run the same old BS even though we just had the greatest season the team has ever had. All and All good times and the weather was B E A utiful!!! Yep, 82...I need the offseason as well...I am fried.

Well during the party at my house my nephew and her wife decided to root for the Steelers to be different because they could not care about football at all. well at the end of the night after the game when I was staring at the TV in depression mode my niece(30 years old) says, "Why all the long faces? Did something bad happen?" That was just a little to much for me at that moment and a not so nice F bomb was thrown out. i was so mad at that moment that a couple of people that have no real passion for anything at all would take a jab at me at that moment when they knew my passion for sports and this team. I did appologize but man talk about bad timing.

My wife, the Steeler fan, watched the game together with no one sitting between us. She told me before the game that she hoped the Cards win because she wanted her husband back. Evidently, winning the Championship game put me in some mindset that left her out of the conversation. I had to smile because she would let out a whoop on a good Steeler play, then look at me and say, "sorry."

Needless to say, it was very quiet in the room when the game ended. I still have difficulty in wanting to look at any aspect of the game on TV. In fact, I just heard coach Whiz on the Doug and Wolf show say when asked about watching the game film, that it will be some time before he can study the game film. Tough game to lose.

Drove up to North Jersey to watch the Supe in front of my son's high def super surround-sound TV screen.

Attendees - (1) Son Dan, (2) His Wife, (3) Mrs. (Dr.) G, (4) my 92 year old Mom in Law, Gert and (5) Me.

Plenty of chips; plenty of dip; plenty of Sangria and homemade beer; chicken in wine sauce.

There were 2½ hard-core fans in the room. (My son and me - plus Gert - who - while hard of hearing, can't see well & isn't up on the finer points of the game - sat glued in front of the set, frequently muttering about how the Steelers "play dirty" and "why didn't the refs do something?"

Both our wives rooted for the Cardinals, but had to be frequently reminded what a first down means and why we had to punt the ball. The Boss (who "back in the day" used to skateboard down our hill) held their interest during halftime.

All 5 of us hooted and hollered from beginning to end. The Surround Sound speaker (in back of me to the left) picked up "Cardinal Sounds" from the stands (including "Let's Go Cardinals!")

In most instances, I prefer to watch games alone (with the sound turned off). But this was The Big One - for those we love to enjoy together.
