DK - JKF made the mistake of going right back to work and sitting in a chair.
My urologist was competent enough to advise me to go home and LAY DOWN for at least 2 days.
He also advised me BEFORE the procedure to make sure I had a couple bags of frozen corn or peas that I could rotate between sac/freezer EVERY hour i was awake.
He even recommended that I have "a beer or two" w/ my first dose of pain meds!
THAT dr. deserves a Nobel prize!

Same thing happened with my mom. She had her tubes tied. Ironic part is she was mocking my aunt when she had her baby and said "Thank god I don't have to worry about having any more kids". Nine months to the day my little sister is born.
