Keim refers to this as CJ "getting skinny". I love CJ's style and believe he will be, if he stays healthy, our leading rusher this season!

I love that CJ is a super patient runner. He waits for his OL to set up their blocks and then quickly gets upfield with no hesitation.

calais and bruce arians both quoted today saying they wish they didnt have to goto silent count in their own stadium....

just so disappointing that opposition still can grab tickets as easily as they can.

I have pretty much accepted that there will always be a significant number of opossing fans in the stands whenever a "popular" team is in town.

What I don't get are the Cardinals fans that try to drown out the noise of the opossing fans by booing, chanting let's go Cardinals, etc, basically just plain making even more noise when the other's teams fans try to get loud when the Cards are on offense. It never fails.

I think our hometown crowd noise sucks, but I'll throw out a silver lining or two:

1. If we're this efficient WITH crowd noise...

2. They've had to perfect silent counts and playing in noisy stadiums. Has to help our road game.

Okay perhaps just 2 silver linings. :)

Funny you put this because in Denver last year, they had "quiet, Manning and company are working" on the jumbo tron. It was something like that and it was dead silence in the crowd. Almost too quiet as if people weren't watching the game. Now that is the way it should be on offense

Boring. Just put "Shut the Hell Up" on the big board and move on.

Yep that bed has already been made.

There are literally thousands of season tickets that are owned by out of town ticket brokers. Those guys could care less if their seats are filled by Cardinals fans, Opposing team fans or ISIS members for that matter. All they care about is selling their seats for a profit.

We will have to deal with opposing teams fans for many years to come. There is no way around it now.

This...the one thing that Cards fans can learn from Packers and Broncos fans, is how to be quiet when the offense is on the field...You can hear a pin drop in Lambeau when Rodgers is calling out the cadence.

I dunno .. I think the crowd was pretty quite while they were on offense. And I didn't think the 49'er fans made that much noise (heck, they were down 21-0 before halftime). Me thinks it was something else?

I love all the comments about the Pats going undefeated again this year. Lots of pundits think the Cards might be the only team to handle their onslaught. Funny.

I think the Niner fans were making some noise very early in the game. They got really quiet quick though.

The Cardinal fans were plenty loud when we were on defense though. Even when the stadium was pretty much empty on the Niners last possession we were still making it hard for Kap out there.

Couldn't have been a better game for me. My roommate is an avid loud screaming Niners fan. I didn't have to hear a peep out of him during the whole game. Usually I have a headache in 10 minutes after the start of any Niners game. NICE to be able to enjoy the game in peace!

No one has postulated that BA was just showing gamesmanship and excusing Veldheer and Massie, our two tackles, before we play against the best D line in football. Surely he wouldn't do that.

Veldeer had a horrific game.:bang:
Not really, just a few mistakes. He has earned it.
THIS

Chants of "Larry! Larry! Larry!" are one thing, but the noise level - from our own fans - stayed up too often when we had the ball.

It is nothing new. Back in the day they had a graphic of Big Red shushing the crowd with a sign that said "Shhh !! Kurt is working !!" or something just like that.

Yesterday they showed a graphic on the big board several times which was simply a black screen with a Cardinals' crown and a message like "Be Calm We're On Offense."

Ridiculous.
I love hearing the Larry chant over the TV. It's awesome.

Agreed, plus you just cant change the fact that Arizona will always be a destination city for fans to see their teams play. There will never be an atmosphere like in Philly/greenbay/pittsburgh in AZ. Maybe thats a good thing
