yea ..I know..profootballtalk is wrong at times (yea.. I know about the colvin rumor)...but I personally believe that suggs will not fall to us (I thought that before I read the article below)- and that if we want him we need to trade up to the texans spot. Pass rushers are at a huge premium - suggs will redo his workout according to his agent..and his game tape is too impressive.. The following just confirms my thinking that suggs does not last until #6. I was thinking that houston, chicago and dallas would all take him if he was there.. I am waffling on dallas..tuna needs a surer thing in my opinion.. I think the other teams would gamble on suggs..the following is probably fiction..but he still goes below #6..

BEARS SANDBAGGING ON SUGGS?
A league source tells us that the Bears secretly are thrilled with the disappointing workout of defensive end Terrell Suggs on Wednesday at Arizona State's Pro Day.
Why? Despite the public statements of *.M. Jerry Angelo in the wake of Suggs' slow-footed display (which included a 40-yard dash on plastic as slow as 4.9 seconds), the word is that the Bears still intend to take Suggs with the fourth overall pick in the draft.
According to the source, the feeling high within the Bears' front office is that the workout couldn't have gone better, since it most likely has scared away the Houston Texans, who pick in front of the Bears at No. 3, and it likewise has dissuaded a team like the Vikings from leap-frogging Chicago for the rights to Suggs.
A separate league source tells us that the teams with no interest in Suggs will continue to sing his praises, in the hopes that the Bears (or someone else) will pluck Suggs out of the pool, thereby allowing another quality player to fall down the board.
JIMOH JUMPS TO NEW HEIGHTS
We've gotten word that Utah State cornerback Adebola Jimoh rang up a 46.5-inch vertical leap at Thursday's Pro Day workout.
That's no typo -- Jimoh jumped 46-point-freakin'-5 inches.
We're hearing that Jimoh's number is among the highest (if not the highest) ever recorded in a collegiate workout.
The 6'1" Jimoh ran the 40 in 4.42 seconds, and he finished the shuttle in 4.13.
Amazingly, some publications don't even mention Jimoh among the top recruits at the cornerback position. Given his ups, he ultimately could leap into day one of the draft
