MJ and Bickley

Espo, why in your opinion are MJ and Bickley suspended? That seems to be entirely the producers responsibility and not the fault of the hosts. IMO the manager of the station should be suspended for not properly staffing the show.

Abomb pretty much got it right. I think that Bickley and MJ are the public face of the show and they couldn't do anything to Wilson for what he said and doing something to the producer doesn't show the "outraged public" that actions were taken. It's dumb but you know how that kind of stuff works. I honestly think that in Phoenix/Tucson morning radio Wilson dropping the F-bomb is probably one of the least offensive things done/said.

Thanks for the explanation, and I agree with you. But Bick and MJ don't push the dump button. Kind of ridiculous.

Can't blame AW for cussing over that loss. I would, too, and it shows how much he cares about wins.

I was wondering why those guys took a “vacation” during the football season. I actually heard the interview, but I didn’t hear the “bad” words because he was mumbling so much.

What is the purpose of the suspension? To teach them to hire better producers?

I laughed when I heard Dirk Koetter on the show this morning.

No kidding! I couldn't believe it until I remembered that Bick and MJ were still suspended. My favorite part of the interview was when they asked Dirk if he was dissapointed in the start to this season. He answered "It's dissapointing but those teams were picked to finish ahead of us in the PAC-10 anyways." Nice, way to strive for excellence Dirk. What a loser.
