The only possible explainatuon for that play that I can.imagine is that NY somehow didn't have the video.

I know it is in the interest of time. Tonight's fiasco was rare, and I'd prefer it to what they were doing originally when every time they had to check a replay the crew chief went somewhere in the bowels of the stadium to review the tape and the game ground to a 10 minute halt.
