MLS is interested in adding teams with billionaire owners, which Phoenix has never had. It always seems like we’ve been on the outside looking in despite the potential for a huge fan base here.

It’s not a matter of Phoenix wanting MLS, it’s a matter of MLS wanting Phoenix.
