7. Dick LeBeau.

Youngest 77 year old man in America. A friend of mine's sister dated him a few years ago. Met him on a golf course in Pittsburgh. Said he was in unbelievable shape and did not feel odd about being almost 28 years younger.

No offense but that's pretty damn gross.

Mitch, I really like the possibility of DLB joining BA's staff as a consultant. That has a VERY good feel to it, both for the franchise, and for DLB. I am pretty sure he is tired of the constant grind of being accountable for a defensive scheme. Simply getting to come in and help out might be just the change he is looking for. This could really top off what is already a superb staff. It might be real nice for him to be able to look forward to coming in to work again, instead of dreading it. I get that he is part of that older group that has already figured out that giving respect-----gets respect. He has been well respected for years, and would likely garner his share of it here as well.

Really, letting Toler get out was a big mistake. But the mistake waiting to happen (Rod Graves) is thankfully gone.

Yes hopefully, Bethel will continue to grow in the position because PP took a big step backwards this season.

I dunno. Toler wasn't able to stay healthy here, and he wasn't able to stay healthy last season with Indianapolis.

We essentially traded him for Jerraud Powers, only Powers is making nearly $5M less on his three-year deal than Toler is on his.

Good point. Only difference is Toler is on the outside and Powers mainly the slot.

I think/hope Bethel has the tools to do the same.

How so? Toler was the #2 cover man for the Colts. Powers the #3 for us.
Cromartie and PP were the starters. Powers wherever the #3 WR lined up.

Last year Powers was our outside starter. Cromartie wasn't here.
