Only 7 games into the season and the Cardinals are already 5 games ahead of the Seahawks.

Watching Carol throw his gum last night brought me much joy. LOL

At 2-3, it felt troublesome — particularly with Russell Wilson being sidelined with an injury. At 2-4, it felt perilous — the playoffs were still possible but not probable. But now that the Seahawks are 2-5, it feels pretty close to over.

Can they really come back from this?

The Seahawks didn’t just lose a game on Monday, they likely lost a season. Their 13-10 defeat at the hands of the Saints was a haymaker to their souls.

Reading another article from Seattle and I really enjoyed this nugget:

Like I said, it was an ugly game.

But it also feels ugly because it’s so far from where the Seahawks, and their fans, imagined this team being as it nears the midway point of the season. These are the Seahawks that had their eyes set on contention in August. Two months later they’re staring at a 2-5 record and the highest first-round pick they’ve had in ages. Oh, right, that pick is going to the Jets. That’s ugly, too.

Just not a ton of margin for error in the division.

Give up picks for a box safety to compete with SF and it hamstrings you because the Rams and Cardinals will expose that player as they run more 11 and 10 personnel.

Trade up for a rookie QB with Jimmy G and you have to field questions why the rookie isn't starting soon enough because you are losing.

Jared Goff gets you to a Super Bowl but you have to trade picks to get Stafford because Goff isn't good enough to compete with Russ and Kyler.

Hell, struggling to transition from Palmer forced the Cardinals to daft two QBs in the top 10 in consecutive years, fire a HC and still have to trade for Hopkins and Hudson to compete.

Just a rough division.

Seems likely he’ll be cut in the near future
I went an researched the structure of that contract and it's crazy. He'll never seen anything close to it.

And it was too tedious for me to understand all of the details lol.
