I sure am gonna miss him. One of the few regrets I have about not having kids is that I'll never be able to take them to see Larry play, haha.
He is by far the greatest player ever to wear the Cardinal red. And he's more than just a great player. He's also a role model, the kind the league needs to hold up instead of tools like Kaepernick, Sherman, Newton, or whatever other hotdog. You never see him talk trash during a game. Never see him do some stupid dance in the endzone after scoring. And when he speaks, he talks more about his teammates than himself. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to find one single negative about him as a player or him as a man. I hope that upon his retirement the league takes advantage of him and use him as an ambassador for the game because I know of no one better.

How are these guys tools? They do quite a bit for kids & their community. You may not like their style of play but that doesn't make them tools.

How are Sherman & Cam tools? I can sort of see why some think Kaep is one even though I don't think he's one either. Real tools are guys like Burfict, Suh, etc.

You mean like when he brutally assaulted his baby momma and then covered it up?

On a side note, I'm surprised no team has given Daryl Washington a shot. I'm betting he's been offered league minimum to play and refused though. If we hadn't of drafted Reddick I would have been more upset they released him

It sounds like we offered the minimum and he turned it down so he will either get desperate and take it from someone, he will remain unemployed or someone else will be desperate and offer him more.

He was hoping the Cowboys picked him up after the cards ran him off.

Do you have a more reliable source than mediatakeout? And define brutally? Brutally would imply that there were assault charges filed against him. There were not. Brutally would also mean she was seriously injured. She was not. And a woman can get a TRO against anyone with simply a claim without proof. I mean, I really love you people who use words like "brutally" without any context or evidence.

I'm not that surprised. He hasn't played in three years, has DV and drug concerns in his past, showed no real desire or fight to get himself reinstated, and turned down a minimum deal for the team that gave him $10 million. He's not going to be the type of veteran you pull in late in training camp either. Not playing for three years means he is a question mark and needs a lot of work to get up to football speed. If he isn't in anybody's camp before week 2 of the preseason games then he will probably never be playing in the NFL again.

"He's back," Arians said. "This was the first practice he really looked like himself."

But that didn't stop Carson Palmer and Co. from challenging him.

"I didn't get my hands on a bunch the first couple practices and I thought they think that, ‘Hey, maybe we can just throw to [Tyrann] and he won't be there, maybe just throw it over his head and he won't make a play.

"It's a challenge for me. I embrace it. I expect it. I'm talking a little bit more. I'm moving around better. So it's just my confidence is coming back. Today was fun. Today was fun for me."

C'mon now .. that was all over the media AFTER the playoff run was over. AZ Central being one of them, but it was glossed over. Larry guards his public image very carefully.

Grabbing a 50 year old woman by the hair and throwing her to the ground is brutal lol

If you openly court the Cowboys and they don't want you then you are done. Cowboys will sign any felon they think can still play.

Washington might get a look after Week 1 of the regular season when veteran contracts aren't guaranteed. If he's not too insulted by the low contract offers.
