Are we predicting what they will be or our preferential order.

Mine are:

Ayton
Bagley
Young
Doncic

But I am not proclaiming that is what the Suns order of preference is.

Exactly. The Suns will not be choosing until their turn comes up and they see who is available at that spot.

With four teams and four picks in play, that is a lot of permutations and combinations to evaluate. It would be nothing but a guess at this point.

It will be meaningful when we know which team drafts where... well, it might be...

That's not very sanitary. I wouldn't put money where my anus is let alone my mouth. But, right now, I'd say Ayton, Doncic, Young and Bagley look to be the 4 best NBA pros from this class.

I agree up and down with Stefan.

We either need to draft Ayton and sign a big FA point guard or draft Doncic and sign or trade for the best center available. Either one of those two will dramatically improve our team.

If we get hosed down to third or fourth slot, we should just fold the team and call the FBI and have them investigate the obvious long term fraud.

Ayton
Doncic
Young
... Bagley? I bounce around between him, JJJ and Porter.

For me, it's the fact that he has multiple NBA skills. He can really shoot, he is an outstanding passer, and he handles the basketball well. Yeah, he's gonna be a liability on defense, but so are Ayton, Donic, and especially Bagley. Bamba does nothing for me. Porter and JJJ are my sleeper picks, but not in top four.

It's pointless to guess right now since we don't know which team is picking where. If the lottery ends up not effecting the draft order though I'd say

Suns - Ayton
Grizzlies - Doncic
Mavericks - Bagley
Hawks - Porter

The 4th pick could be Young, if another team gets it. I don't see Atlanta taking him because they have Schroeder.

Ayton
Doncic
Bagley
Young

I kinda agree with others having Young at #3 though. But I'm not going to ride the fence here. Bagley seems too hard to pass on at #3 so I have to stick with it.

JJJ is a gamble since we already have Bender and Chriss as bigs to develop, adding a 3rd big would put a lot of pressure on the coaching staff. I'd rather they didn't draft a project like that. I know Ayton, Bagley, and even Bamba will need to develop but not to the degree Jaren Jackson will need.

That makes perfect sense. We don't need another "Chriss" right now. Bagley is at least more developed and producing.
