I asked Cardinals GM Monti Ossenfort today at the combine how having a large amount of cap space will affect his approach to free agency. His answer: "I mean, I think it gives us opportunity, it gives us flexibility. I think it gives us opportunities to see what the market is at certain positions when you're tied up against a cap that it limits what you can do. And so it's just one of those things where you also have to be smart about it. You don't want to just spend to spend either. You got to make the right decisions."

I like that his confidence in Murray hasn't wained from day 1 and still seems fairly genuine.
