I was reading the paper and watching ESPN2 when they mentioned that Mora junior filed SEVENTEEN complaints with the NFL over the officiating in their loss to us? Among the complaints were that the PI when they tripped Fitz was a bad call(I'm guessing he didn't complain about the call on BMF). He also said that when Dockett elbowed the guy in the throat nothing was called and if he can get away with I must assume that my players can do the same thing?

Look I'm sure we get away with things, Dockett and Lutui would be on any list of dirtiest NFL players, I know that, I also know other teams do things too. I'm sure he didn't complain about the no call on the offensive PI when his WR grabbed Rolle causing him to drop a sure INT in the endzone? I'm sure he didn't complain about the play on the punt return where after the play was dead one of his guys nailed one of our guys who was standing near the pile?

Seventeen complaints, I don't see the point in that surely the NFL is just going to think he's high maintenance?

It is easier to blame others than to accept personal responsibility for failure.

props on the Spongbob pic.

but yea I sent Hasselbeck a message on twitter asking him if he and his team will ever stop bitching after every loss or if they will take the loss like men and just sit in the 3rd place seat and let daddy drive.

Mora and Mike McCarthy are the biggest whiners in the league about officiating.

McCarthy I get because his teams, and especially his defensive backs, commit a lot of penalties.

Mora is just a crybaby IMO. The game was closely officiated, and a case could be made that Seattle fared better than the Cardinals on the officiating. How many offensive holding penalties were called on Seattle versus what was called against the Cardinals?

Brian Billick said the Cardinals had something like 136 yards of offense called back because of penalties. That hardly sounds like the officiating was favoring them. :doi:

Good grief what a whiner. Seattle's drive where they scored their last FG was a total gift of penalties. The refs gave Mora a 1st and goal from the 1. What more did he want, for the refs to actually put the ball in the endzone for him?

The officiating was horrible. Sure I am biased, but it appeared the Cardinals were getting the worst of it by a long shot, not even close!

Again: to be a good team you have to be good enough to beat the other team and the bad calls that go against you.

People complain about the officiating all the time.

If you lost people say you're a weenie whiner.

If you won you're not but then almost nobody complains real loud if they won the game do they.

Whenever you complain about your QB getting his throat elbowed, then turn around and state that if you known that wasn't a penalty you'd have your guys do the same thing, then you are a weenie.

The elbow incident didn't look that bad on the reply. I honestly thought Hasselsack was doing a bit of a Lutui style acting job there.

When you realize that loss effectively eliminates your team from the play-offs and November is only half-over; that can bring the weenie out...

Exactly. Mora basically promised the fans, the Seahawks would be right back in it this year, last year was a lot of bad luck and injuries. At this point all he has to show for it are three wins against terrible teams and the Seahawks out of the playoffs before Thanksgiving. He doesn't have any moves left at this point other than making excuses to deflect blame from himself. Its pitiful but not suprising to see him pull this kind of crap.

O.K. First and foremost, Dockett is great and I have been following him since we drafted him. I had high hopes for him and his story is incredible. That being said I think he is on a slippery slope. In the first series against both Chicago and Seattle he was very close to late hits on their QB's( I actually thought he would get flagged). He is a great player but I think this throat thing is going to get him the wrong kind of attention from the refs. I wouldn't be surprised if they flag him early for anything close to a late hit. That could effect both the game and his play and I don't want to see that. Again, not judging the play just a strategic observation.

"I don't like when it's our quarterback, but if they're not going to call it then I'd like to see our guys do it to their quarterback," Mora said.

Thats a great philosophy if the team could develop a scheme to get to their quarterback.

Saw that posted on a Seahawks board.

The officiating in that game was atrotcious. Even Wiz hinted at how bad it was, and if I read Sando's blog corrctly from the other day I believe Wiz said he would be disputing some calls as well. That was one of the worst officiaated NFL games I have ever seen.

Yup here it is:

"I'm disappointed that there seemed to be a number of penalties called that were tough to see," Whisenhunt said. "I thought we played a pretty good technical game. Some of those penalties were unfortunate. I wasn't happy with them. There will be a few that we turn in (to the league office) because, as would be the normal case, you don't always agree with them."

that were tough to see <---- LOL, I am stealing that phrase. I guess that is P.C. for "Those calls sucked, and the ref sucked."

People complain about the officiating all the time.

If you lost people say you're a weenie whiner.

If you won you're not but then almost nobody complains real loud if they won the game do they.

But its pervasive with the Seahawks. They complain about the officiating (Super Bowl) their injures (Game one against us) and dirty play (Dockett) and its just such a defeatist attitude. Whoa is me all the time and never taking any personal responsibility.

Must be all that rain that makes them a bunch of softies.
