I knew he resigned, but what is not clear is whether it was immediately after Melvin was let go or it was because Hinch was the new manager.

My theory is that Hinch is viewed in the clubhouse as more of a front office extension rather then a player advocate. How can they feel they can speak openly and honestly and not have it trickle up to the top? It's like a bad reality show but the main characters are not women

Ryan, they didn't seem to give a crap for Melvin either, did they? My theory is if the clubhouse doesn't like Hinch, that may be a good thing. Collectively, the everyday players have sucked and much of the bullpen has sucked.
