ESPN has announced that the Cardinals will interview Washington Redskins Personnel Executive Morroco Brown for their vacant GM position.

No thank you. I don't want anybody from that organization that was involved in drafting or scouting players. No, no and no.

Well he did get 2 NFL worthy QBs...in the same draft. :D When was the last time we drafted one?

More about Morocco. It's a little dated however. He sounds like a good enough guy, but if there is one organization that had been littered with bad FA moves and bad drafts more than AZ it's the Redskins.

Also Jurecki reported today that league sources told him not to be surprised if Cards went with a minority for GM.

We should just re-interview Rod Graves if we're looking to fulfill the Rooney Rule. Really tough position to put minority executives in; hopefully there are some people of color in the Sports Analytics departments around the NFL who can start taking these.

He is a minority candidate, but I have no information on how qualified he is for the job or if he is a legitimate option. One thing to consider is he currently occupies Jason Licht's position with Washington so even if he doesn't wind up being the GM, he could promote into Keim's position.

Whatever, creates more negotiating leverage for them if they need it. Just want them to hire the best person for the job at the end of the day.

Bump because Mikey went and talked with Morocco today...so they just said on TV so it's kinda maybe true. Said he will meet with McCoy tomorrow.
