Holy cow take a look at this video. This is supposed to be some sort of test shoot for a potential new Mortal Kombat movie. It looks awesome.

The first Mortal Kombat was really good, the second was "WTF?"...as long as it's not directed by Uwe Boll it won't be the worst movie ever.

I don't know if I'd call it really good but it was watchable.

I'd be much more interested in a Mortal Kombat movie if they tried to play it straight, which that clip seems to do. Although Michael Jai White overracts like crazy. Dynomite! Dynomite!

Neither...it looks like it's going to be a webseries of some sort. More of a pet project it would seem.

No official word on when Mortal Kombat: Rebirth will be released, but right around the April 19th release date of the Mortal Kombat game seems like a pretty safe bet.
