Some teams know how to maintain the window...3 year window...2 years suck...2 year window...3 years suck...et al.

As a fanbase ,we have graduated from laughingstock to solid franchise, now we have the right to demand consistency and excellence.

Yeah and 3 of the last 4 years we've won double digit games. Just relax let's see what they do this offseason

Now next offseason we need a playmaking WR, a future franchise QB, and a whole new offensive line. The defense can be solid again with a few tweaks but our offense will continue to be one of the worst in the league.

It doesn't help that the red zone conversion rate is 26.67% Only the Dolphins are worse at 20.00% Last year it was 64.81% They convert only 1 out of every 4 tries into TDs in the red zone. Me thinks Arians play calling has a lot to do with this as he depended on DJ way tooo much and without him Arians is a below average play caller.

I completely disagree, because Arians was aces way before David Johnson and you would have hardly called him below average... it is called a crap offensive line and failing to call plays which accommodate for your OL

I read an article and in it CC asked his agent to contact both the Cards and Broncos to see if they could get close to the Jags offer. So no CC didn't see any writing on the wall, hope that helps.

It was a joke.

Play calling has been horrible. This game gave me flashbacks of half McGinnis half Whiz. So many teams with same injuries as us....minus DJ...and they don't miss a beat. Badger is horrible he looks like the kid in the movie Lucas holding on to the runner while being dragged for 20yds cause he can't tackle. Shameful game today

Oh my God... that Badger line is so funny... and so freaking sad.

I bet Campbell saw the writing on the wall with this team(and his new pay check) and ran as fast as he could. Jax has a better team then the Cards. I can't believe I actually typed that...:(

CC would have played for the Browns for $1.00 more a year (assuming the State tax didn't alter his one dollar raise)

as I said in another thread

Calais Campbell Numbers

23 Tackles 6 Sacks 1 Forced Fumble

Everyone on Cards Roster listed as a Def End (like Calais) OR Listed as DT
all added together (Gunter, Mauro, Nkdemiche, Pierre, Rucker)

34 Tackles 7 Sacks 0 Forced Fumbles

what the heck, we add the guys listed as NT to the totals and compare to Campbell alone

53 Tackles 7.5 Sacks 0 Forced Fumbles (Card entire line)
23 Tackles 6 Sacks 1 Forced Fumble (Calais Campbell)

Our ENTIRE defensive line has a only little over twice the tackles Calais has and only 1.5
more sacks than he has alone.

Sigh.

Not that it would have helped yesterday,,,,but why was field goal kicker Harrison Butker overlooked when he became available instead of the old leg? That kid is awesome and the Chiefs haven't lost a game!

Our coach or I should say coaches rode hot handed QBs for 2 to 3 years. Whiz couldnt coach and he was almost too stubborn to start Warner. Arians got a rejuvenated Palmer and we looked awesome. But they cant coach ....their system doesn't work unless you have an elite QB. The future is a QB that can move. Heck right now....I would love to have Alex Smith. And I'm all honesty I think Palmer is still really good. He is playing with a football that is on fire. He has 1 second to get rid of it . Colin Kaepernick would have us at 3-2 may be 4-1. Because he can move. Teams are putting 3 rushers and getting to us. You look at the QBs around the league. They get 2 extra first downs with their legs and extend at least 7-10 more plays with their feet. Our defense is really good. Problem is our offense has 3 in outs way to often and they get no time to rest. Amos couldn't coach special teams to a flag football team. We need a mobile QB and that doesn't necessarily mean drafting one. I think we need to draft OL in first 2 rounds....and get maybe Alex Smith or Brissett.....I wont be upset if we draft a QB first. I get it. But DJ needs a good line to run behind....Alex Smith may win the MVP and not start next year. They moved up in the draft to get Mahones..

He'll do what he needs to do to rebuild. No one will win when all of their first round picks are injured, for example.
Plus, Golden, Johnson, Iupati, etc.

Michael Floyd - drunk/cut
Jonathan Cooper - cut
Deone Bucanon - Healthy, currently playing out of position in my opinion.
Haason Reddick - Healthy, was playing out of position
Robert Nkimdiche - hurt.
DJ Humphries - hurt.

Two cut

Two playing out of position

Two currently hurt, and if we are playing hang man, they have at least B and U going under them.

Not all the 1st round picks are hurt.........but they might as well be. They are not making the impact needed.
