At the risk of taking another credibility hit, I thought Reeves' performance in The Matrix was pretty good. I probably feel that way because I expected so little, but he made me forget I was watching Keanu, made me believe he was Neo, so I don't think he's as bad as some people make him out to be. He played that role reasonably understated.

He's very believable as a man lost. I think you nailed it, he's not awful he's just limited.

You don't ask a Defensive Tackle to play in open space too often and you treat Reeves with similar sentiment.

Ohhhh. Forgot. There are character actors that directors and critics love, but I wish they would find another career. These character annoy the crap out of me:

- Allison Janney
- Charles Durning
- Robert Loggia

And let me add I never thought Gene Wilder was funny. Not once. Not ever. I feel he made a career being manic and deranged, and he was even in some of my favorite Mel Brooks movies somehow without me throwing something at the screen. It's a testament to my restraint, not his comedic timing.

In a van...down by the river.
Nicole Kidman can act IMO.
Keanu is TERRIBLE...quit giving him a pass.
I like Charles Durning.......def a character guy but he's so good at it. If i'm picturing his face correctly.....
Wasn't he in "Sharky's Machine" w/Burt Reynolds?

Colin Farrell. Just don't like him at all.

I'm not saying he's a bad actor; I just don't like him. Never understood the attraction.

Joel Osteen? That's pretty funny, unintentional or otherwise.

Jeff Goldblum.

The shame of Jeff Goldblum is he chose the wrong venue. Believe it or not he is quite funny when put into a comedic role.

But he never is in a comedy. His "dramatic" acting is horrible.

Almost at a second tier to Keanu Reeves, and Nicholas Cage, in terms of being the same character no matter what the role or movie is Brad Pitt and Mel Gibson.

If it weren't for Payback (Gibson) and Snatch (Pitt) they both would be in the same league as Reeves and Cage.

But my all time most annoying actor is .......... Christian Bale my goodness he is HORRIBLE. To the point where he is abrasive.

But you need a straight man. You always need a straight man.

I think Wilder just new what Mel Brooks was looking for in his movies.

That "Transporter" guy. I dont like him so much I dont even bother to try and remember his name.

He is this decades Dolph Lungren and Steven Seagal. Overhyped action star who will be relagated to straight to DVD movies for most of his career pretty soon, just like those before him.

Looked it up for you. Jason Statham.

I like him okay, I guess. Haven't seen Transporter, though.

Horrible movie, #2 was even worse which I didnt think was possible. He is the same character in every movie he makes. Lock Stock and Snatch, it has been nothing but downhill since.
