Movie A Day #134: Wayne's World

[Beaver]

Wayne( Mike Myers) holds his own public access TV show in the basement of his parents house and a local station decides to hire him and his sidekick, Garth (Dana Carvey), to do their show professionally and Wayne & Garth find that it is no longer the same. Wayne falls for a bass guitarist and uses his and Garth's Video contacts to help her career along, knowing that Benjamin Kane (Rob Lowe), the sleazy advertising guy who is ruining their show will probably take her away from him if they fail. Mike Myers and Dana Carvey are another excellent SNL duo. I still use some of the hilarious quotes from this movie. Tia Carrere is hot in this as well. Party on!

Very good movie one of my favorites.

I love that scene where his ex girlfriend is on the bike and she waves at him and says "Hi wayne" Then flips over the car.

Great movie.

The scene after the Alice Cooper concert is timeless.

Best line:
"I don't own a gun, let alone many guns that would necesitate an entire rack. What am I going to do with a gun rack?"

Agreed! That Master of Disguise movie was terrible.
