I'm a huge Jim Carey fan and I thought that this was one of his best performances. It wasn't the best movie of all time but is worth a watch. Like Chap said, If you liked the Truman Show or Man On the Moon you will probably like this one.

HOLY CRAP!!!!

So when I rolled out of bed this morning I did something I don't typically do - I flipped on the TV, and lo and behold on HBO they had just started the Majestic.

So I watched it. Amazing movie - I laughed, I cried, I ate cereal...

I haven't seen all of Jim's movies but I've seen a majority of them and this movie was just fantastical. I loved it. I'm set up Tivo to record it this coming Friday so the wife can watch it now.

Man what a good story and what excellent acting. I really liked Gerry Black in the role of Emmett Smith - he was just absolutely casted great. Carrey was really good in this - heck the entire cast was good. I just can't believe how much I enjoyed it.

That is pretty darn funny.

I recently watched this. I thought it was fantastic. It definitely had a "It's a Wonderful Life" feel to it.

I'm a bit surprised of what a box-office bomb this was. Grossed $28 million on a budget of $72 million.
