What I think is an absolute comedy classic and also a movie I thought would be fitting for a Friday...

SYNOPSIS: Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick) is a tricky but harmless fast-talker. But he knows how to have fun, which is exactly what he sets out to do when he feigns illness and talks his parents into letting him stay home from school. The perpetually lucky Ferris enlists his hypochondriac best friend, Cameron Frye (Alan Ruck), into springing his girlfriend, Sloane Peterson (Mia Sara), from class, and the three embark on a raucous downtown Chicago adventure. From Wrigley Field to the Art Institute of Chicago to a Polish pride parade, Ferris and his friends make the most of their day off. But Ferris, Sloane, and Cameron might not get away with playing hooky. Ferris’s sister, Jeanie (Jennifer Grey), is determined to prove that Ferris is faking sick and make him pay for it, and the bumbling school dean, Ed Rooney (Jeffrey Jones), is sure that Ferris is pulling a fast one.

No matter how many times I see this movie ... I can't get sick of it. One of those true form 80s teen movies but mindless fun nonetheless.

Favorite Line(s): "What's the score?"
"Nuthin', Nuthin'"
"Who's winning?"
".................... The Bears."

Absolutely love this movie.

It's one of those that, although you've seen it a million times, you still leave on if you are flipping through channels and happen upon it.

Great cast. Fun movie.

P.S. Jeffrey Jones was great as Rooney, too bad he's such a perv in real life.

I love this movie, too.

It's a total classic and my roomies and I watch it whenever we need an 80's fix.

The girl that played Simone, she just sort of dropped off the face of the earth. She was a big time hottie who should have made a career if in nothing else, Skinimax movies.

What happened to her?

She was married to Sean Connery's son, Jason. They had one child together, before divorcing. Kinda cool, she's the mother of Sean Connery's grandchild.

Wow, I had never heard of the tv show. Only made it for 13 episodes. Jennifer Aniston was in it too.
