I have to admit, part of my dislike for the movie comes from the actual theater I saw it in. I paid 14 bucks to see it opening night at the Cinerama Dome, and other than the transvestite sitting down the row from me, it was very uneventful. :D

Chap - what's the big deal about the Cinerama dome anyway? I live in LA and have never seen a movie there - but everyone talks about it - why is it deemed to be so great, better than Chinese or Fox theater in Westwood?

I don't think it's better than the Chinese. I guess it's because the Dome has such a huge screen and it's curved, but there's nothing else to make like a movie "palace", like the Chinese.

Add to that the new thing of having assigned seating, what a pain in the behind. So suffice to say, Spider-Man was the last movie I saw there. If I want to pay that much to see a movie, I'll either see it on IMAX or at The Bridge.

Sounds like you're eagerly anticipating the DareDevil Director's Cut DVD which is due to come out next April. :D

I actuallyliked Daredevil better. Thought it was more entertaining and not as drawn out as Spiderman.

I really didnt care for Spiderman or the Hulk for that matter!

I own it on DVD and still haven't gotten around to watching it. I'm a huge DD fan too (from the comics).

Daredevil and Hulk tie for the hands down worst superhero movies - they were terrible movies outside of the genre as well IMO.

Come on now, Hulk was much better than Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, the last two Superman movies, the Punisher with Dolph Lundgren (and probably the one with Thomas Jane as well), and Daredevil, actually.

Other than that, Hulk IMO wasn't even a "superhero" movie. He may have been "super", but he was no "hero". It was interesting because Ang Lee made it more than an efx extravaganza, but it was bad because the effects were actually pretty bad.

Yeah - I guess I was just thinking of this new wave of Comic-book movies that have come out in the last couple years.

Batman and Robin is the worst hands down comic book movie ever - followed closely by the Quest for Peace (Supes 4) -althought there a some movies up there that I don't even deem worthy of mention (Punisher and the last two Batmans).

I was disappointed with this movie. Not a horrible flick but a time passing flick. I didn't buy Tobey as Peter Parker. He was like nails on a blackboard. I did like a dripping wet Dunst though. As I told my wife, I was glad I watched it because I had wanted to but I would never watch it again...which is probably the biggest indictment of a movie.

Any movie with Catherine Zeta-Jones isn't that bad in my book...

Worst superhero movie of all time was the Punisher with Dolf Lundgren.

Spawn was a close second.
