Out of all the comedies out there, you couldn't pick one that's on par with Friday? I mean, come on. Harold & Kumar may have some funny bits, but it's no Friday.

I picked H & K because someone at work preferred it to Friday.
So, yeah. dcr & I watched it last night. Yawn. I giggled a couple of times. dcr barely laughed at all, but still claims it's a classic. Whatever.

It's not laugh out loud hysterical funny. It is culturally funny and a new genre for it's time funny. Never gets old.

lol, I wasn't frowning. It just wasn't that funny. Nick & I have VERY different comedy humor. Kung Pow is a riot to me; he hated it. I love Anchorman, he fell asleep. It's just one of those things.Because you ruined it with your frowningness.

Anchorman has funny moments but suffered from the over-hype syndrome. The same fate I thought I would suffer from Borat, but I enjoyed that one.
And I hated.
I haven't seen Friday, but loved Harold and Kumar. Great flick.
And, I, too, loved Borat. Thought it would suck, but laughed my ass off. Really, really enjoyed it.

The "can I borrow your microwave" scene was laugh out loud hilarious but for some reason it was cut from the movie.
