Deadpool was actually moved up due to the other delays. It had been scheduled for November 8th, 2024. So that's good. I'm still a little nervous over it though on if Disney will let Deadpool be Deadpool.

Nice to see Astroid City at #6. Looking at the numbers it actually has the highest per theater at $5373 beating Spider-verse at $5099. Sometimes the smaller theater count works in your favor. :)

With only a $25m budget it should make money. Hopefully a good sign. I'd like to see us get more of the $25-50m budget range movies. I miss them a bit. Not everything has to be a blockbuster with over used CGI ballooning the budget.

Comic book film fatigue might officially be upon us. All top 10 are comic book movies.
Those were all mostly terrible movies, with Wonder Woman and F4 being the only big top tier offerings amongst the group.

But the bloom is definitely off the rose with comic book flicks. They can still be big money makers. Guardians and Spiderverse showed that this summer, but I think for them to really bank at the box office, they need to be really good now. That wasn’t necessarily the case before.
