Plot - a frustrated movie watcher uses subterfuge to get studio heads on a train bound for Istanbul - only to murder them one-by-one for the pointless remakes they greenlighted.

Johnny Depp, Daisy Ridley Lead The All-Star Murder On The Orient Express Remake

While the Murder on the Orient Express remake suffer a slight setback when Angelina Jolie departed, the project has managed to bounce back and then some. Following yesterday's reports that Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer (seen above) were being eyed to join the remake, their casting was confirmed today, but they weren't the only familiar faces joining that 20th Century Fox had to announce.

And Kenneth Branagh is directing and starring in the movie. I'm all in on this one, remake or no.

I dunno... I'm still quite fond of the '74 movie. I have a feeling it'll bomb.

I haven't, no. I've washed my hands of Kevin Smith. Tusk, while a neat concept, was incredibly flawed, and he let Depp go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on for no good reason in it. I learned from a friend who knows a lot about the industry that Smith has basically said f-it, that fans will see his stuff whatever, and he'll make money no matter what he does, so he's just mailing it in and toking it up off past successes.
