I’m not terribly bothered by Murray having a bad game. Rookies have bad games, even the good ones. What I am concerned about is how he handled it. I don’t care if he’s fine at the press conference. I hate an announcer saying Murray is obviously frustrated. Dragging around and looking hang dog is not leadership form. KK should have sat him down immediately and brought in Hundley. The result is Murray continued to break down. He needs to understand he’s either the leader or he’s not. His behavior was unacceptable even for a rookie. He has a world of athletic talent but so have failures that preceded him. Much of this is on KK. Does he exert any discipline. We shouldn’t hear anymore how Murray is not used to losing. Well, he’s losing now. It’s a learning situation and behavior is something to learn. It’s easy to lead when you’re winning.
