I think the music would work for an epic game. Like last year's GB versus AZ playoff game... all those offensive strikes with some tunes in the background. I dunno, I kinda dig the idea.

It would probably sound lame though when it's a crappy, lame game/matchup.

1. We deserve this.

2. It's like NFL Films "LIVE".

3. I hate it.

It makes it unlistenable...putrid and annoying... It feels like they are going to commercial break the whole time.

Here's some examples from last week:

That is horrible. Next cue up the laugh tracks and insert cartoon characters. Maybe they can let John Facenda do voice overs during the game. Fox is batcrap crazy.

sucked. Every time I hear the music I prepare for commercial, now you just wonder why they are playing music.

Same score was played many times

Just bad, never do it again.

I found it to be a little distracting as I thought I had left the computer on and an old NFL films soundtrack was playing. It added nothing to the "experience".
I remember when FOX also played machine-type sounds with the pop-up info graphics - that experiment was silenced.
Of course winning would have distracted me from caring about the music - hell, they could play the soundtrack to the Sound of Music sung by John Madden if we were winning.
Actually that would actually help while losing...

I'm waiting for a flash mob to break into the Sound of Music on the field.

We couldn't tackle the dancers either.
