Nothing.

Do nothing for at least a week.

The money going around for the level of talent that is out there is RIDICULOUS, worse I have ever seen.

From what I have seen on the NFL Transactions lines it is comparable to the contracts the Cardinals gave Adam Snyder, Daryn Colledge, Travis LaBoy, and yes, even Levi Brown.

Wait it out, and get the help you need with more sane contracts for solid NFL talent. Its not like this free agency class is mind blowingly good. It is actually sub-par compared to year's past, IMHO.

Wait it out Cardinals fans, there will be players that will fill our needs that will be out there two weeks from now.

At this point in time I would be happy with resigning Swearinger, Sio Moore, and Kevin Zeitler the guard from the Bengals. I would consider that a successful FA period.

Zeitler is asking 10 million a year, eesh. Good guard, but that is a big chunk of change for the Cardinals. It is a case of potato, potaato, but I would prefer Larry Warford at that price, but the Cardinals can afford neither at the current moment.

I know the Cardinals are going to need to pick up a guard somewhere, unless John Wetzel is the plan there, or Cole Toner. Personally I would look at Luke Joekel and see how bad his knee injury was, and if he is recovering.

Hoping they don't shell out any stupid contracts b/c I don't view them as contenders anyway. We need to draft a QB early and not doing anything that will screw up our cap situation 3-4 years down the road.

Paying 10 mil per year for a 27 year old OG prevents you re-signing your 24 year old S. Cards need to get better at developing offensive linemen. This is the cost of signing Iupati. I get why they did it. But there is always an offset

This is a great post.

I agree, unfortunately the Cardinals don't and went into the offseason looking for a swan song season.

I am fine with that thinking but not at the expense of the future. Seems like the Cardinals are going to try to acquire veterans at a minimal cost and see if they can get one last collective gasp from those vets to push to a championship. If not, cut them all and restart in 2018.

Over spending & trying to build a roster thru free agency is the surest way to fail & not see the playoffs. That's the way it generally works.

Good post rugby:thumbup:
