Any chance we're going to have a new play by play announcer? I dont know what made it click tonight (maybe suffering through Gonzo calling the Dback game) but I suddenly got nauseous thinking about another 82 games of Steve Albert.

Which is why I muted the sound and listened to Al McCoy's play-by-play on radio.

Tim Kempton isn't my favorite color commentator, but it's better than listening to the least of the three Albert brothers.

Without checking, I assume we're stuck with him for awhile.

Would you still feel this way if you found out we just signed Eddie Beasley?

Steve

I dont know anything about "Eddie" Beasley, to the extent that I question his very existence... but I suspect he would be an upgrade.

He went to seven high schools breaking his brother's record of six and then was cut from his JUCO team when they found out he was imaginary.

Steve

I would think he put up some imaginary numbers and it turns out imaginary numbers are real.

The last part makes him desirable over his brother.
